Successful test run…
Seisenbacher features custom-designed luggage racks in Pesa’s Dart – a new train which will pick up the regular schedule on two major routes in Poland as of December. It is the first Eastern European train equipped with SE parts.
Pesa’s first Dart electric multiple-unit has started dynamic testing on the line between Bydgoszcz and Warlubie to the northeast, achieved its maximum speed of 160 km/h on May 21 and was transported to Żmigród for further testing at the Railway Institute.
Seisenbacher luggage racks are lining the inside of the new trains and SE is likely to work with Pesa on further projects in the future, given that the initial series of custom designs and parts were successful and in line with expectations.
The units are due to enter passenger service from December 2015 onward.
They are to be used on the Jelenia Góra – Wrocław – Łódź – Warszawa – Białystok/Lublin and the Białystok/Lublin – Warszawa – Koluszki – Częstochowa – Katowice – Bielsko Biała routes.
